Randy gets his cast!

Today we went with Randy to his follow up appointment. The doctor said he was healing nicely, but they decided to go ahead and put a cast on since he'll be going back to work. I told him to get a pink cast, but he went with blue!
They did say that they had to make a larger cut than normal (sorry if the picture was too disgusting for you) since his hands were so thick....guess everything was very tight.
He has not had any numbness (sp?) since his surgery, which is very good news. He's still doing great!

Randy's Surgery

Randy had his first surgery yesterday for his carpal tunel. They operated on his left hand first...he'll go back next month to have his right hand done. He did great...he was quite a trooper. I'm amazed at how much he can accomplish with one hand!! Thank you for all your prayers....we arrived at the hospital at 5:30am, and were back home by 10:30am. Thanks so much to my Mom who drove down from Tallahassee to stay with the kids....thanks Mom, we really appreciate your help!

Randon turns 2!

Addy and Autumn at the birthday party

Our little tiger!

Randon's first pony ride

He LOVED it!

Addy and her good friend, Adriana -- Aren't they cute?

Randon's birthday was Saturday....he really didn't know what was going on, or why he was getting new things, but he liked it! We had a birthday party to attend on Saturday too, so he even got to ride a pony and get his face painted......I'd say that's a pretty neat birthday!!
Happy Birthday to Adriana too.....thanks for the fun party! Adriana is such a sweet girl, she and Addy have become good friends.
All in all...Randon had a good day......I can't believe he's already two....may baby is two! How time flies. With the Lord's help, I'm really trying to enjoy each minute of every day. The days go by so fast, and before you know it, it's years! Enjoy your days!

WHAT HAPPENS WHEN A TODDLER GETS OUT OF BED?!

Well......MY toddler decided to get out of bed (his toddler bed of course) and find things in his room that he normally doesn't get to play with! It was quite funny, but not real easy to clean up....I don't think my vacuum liked all the baby powder......still trying to figure out what happened to it.
Any regrets? Well, yes, wish I hadn't moved him out of his crib just yet, but can't turn back now!!

Toddler Bed Time

Randon LOVES his "blankies"

Randon has just started swinging on the big kids swing....he will swing forever...he loves it!

This weekend we bought Randon a firetruck toddler bed from a garage sale. We haven't set it up in his room yet, but it'll happen sometime this week. Not sure if I'M ready for this, but guess it has to be done sometime, so might as well get it over with.....the training begins! :)
The girls have also enjoyed the new bed....they've all been playing in it, and can't wait for Daddy to get it set up!

Our Weekend....

Grandma and Randon playing on the trampoline

Grandma, Randon, Grace, and Addy

The girls decided to have a picnic, and Autumn was the chef...she made lunch for the others.

Cousin picnic!!

This picture is for those of you up North...it was hot enough today to get the water hose out!

We had a fun-filled weekend. Grandma, and Grace came down for the weekend, and Aunt Linda drove over for the day on Saturday. We spent ALL DAY Saturday going from one garage sale to the next. This Saturday was Umatilla's annual city-wide yard sale....so there were MANY, and for all you garage salers out there; you know that you can't pass up any!! We found many neat treasures.
We spent today outside playing until Grandma and Grace had to leave. We always have so much fun with them!!

Armoni...Our loveable cat

Today the kids and I discovered Armoni dead under our back porch. He had been missing for five days, which wasn't really unusual for him, but the last time I had seen him, he wasn't looking very healthy. The kids were sad, and it opened up a great chance to talk to the girls about death. We buried him, and said our goodbyes.
Armoni was such a sweet cat, never attacked the kids, no matter what they would do to him....he will be missed, but yes, life goes on.
