My Two Little Elves

Autumn and Addy decided they were going to pretend to be elves making christmas presents!

O'h Christmas Tree, O'h Christmas Tree.....

Putting up our Christmas tree the Saturday after Thanksgiving became one of our traditions three years ago. To be quite honest, it seemed a littler early this year, but Autumn remembered, so we had to go with it.......the kids had fun though. They love to help their Dad put up the Christmas tree. This years challenge will be keeping Randon from taking off the ornaments!

Fun Project with Dad!

Yesterday Randy and the girls made birdhouses. They had a fun time together.....the girls were very proud of their birdhouses they helped build. I'll have to post the finishing product at a later time, they're still being painted!

Hats....Like sister, like brother

Today Addy put her hat on to go outside, and she ran to get Randon's hat too, so they could match.....too cute.....I had to snap pictures!

Trampoline Fun

The kids love the trampoline. Poor Randon has to hang on for dear life when his sisters are jumping. When he's up there by hiself, he loves to sit and admire the sky, trees, anything...it's so cute!

Gilbert Park with Old Friends

This past Monday we met the Sloans at Gilbert Park for a fun, filled afternoon. Sarah and I have known each other since we were five years old, and now we enjoy getting our kids together whenever we can so they can play, and we can "catch up" on each other's lives.

Thanks Sarah for meeting us...can't wait until the next time.

The Altoona School Fall Festival

Yes, two fall festivals back to back. Today was Autumn's school's annual Fall Festival. Grandpa and Grandma Di drove out from Belleview to attend the festival with us...Aunt Savannah also met us there. We had a fun time. The girls played several games, and after several attempts, Grandma Di finally won a cake at the cake walk, and my Dad won the "50/50" raffle....$74.00....GO, DAD, GO!!

Fall Festival

Tonight we went to the Fall Festival at the YMCA....completely FREE, it was awesome! The kids had a really good time. Autumn and Addy each had their face painted, and Autumn won a raffle prize...a cd player! She was so excited! She told us on the way home that when she went up front to get her prize that she had butterflies in her tummy, and she was so excited that she almost cried.
Randon had fun too, he was pooped by the time we got home.

Edwards and Wienert Wedding

Saturday was Amber's wedding....it was very nice. Autumn, Addy and Grace (my niece) were the flower girls, and Hunter (my nephew) and Nate's nephew were the ring boys...the kids did a wonderful job.
I've included some pictures (mostly of the reception). They had a candy bar, which was really neat...and the cake was cute too.
We especially enjoyed visiting with our out of town family. It's always fun to be with my Aunts, extended Aunts, and my Grandpa!!
Wish a blessed week to everyone.

Friday, October 31st

Friday was not only "candy day" for the kids, but also Amber's "practice" (as the kids say) for the wedding.
Amber and Nate were John McCain and Sarah Palin
Randon was a dragon/dinasour
Autumn was a "Christmas" princess
Addison was Barbie
